Complete series from both Traryd Fönster and SP Fönster will be launched as BIM objects for Revit and ArchiCAD at the end of April 2014. All BIM objects are developed by BIMobject®.

Features and variations such as size constraints, glass weights, full range of glazing bars and mullions and a high level of detail are integrated in the BIM objects. The highly intelligent BIM objects enables engineers, planners and architects to place real products, which can be built in reality, straight into their projects. Glass weights are calculated in an early stage, resulting in accurate calculation of setup times and ease the planning process. Glazing bars and mullions can be modified during ongoing projects and they are adjustable in every part of the windows and can be edited directly in the software. Users no longer need 2D detailed drawings because the level of detail can be changed continuously in accordance with the state of each project.

- BIMobject® can provide the technology that gives us an advantage into the future, and we are convinced that this is the future when BIMobject® shown us what they can offer us and our clients in an extension. We have received requests to offer our products as BIM objects, both from customers and partners, says Kent Olsson, Project Manager at Svenska Fönster AB.

- Benefits of using Svenska Fönster's BIM objects are many, but the most important is that the objects can save customers time, which is a key factor when choosing a supplier, says Ben O'Donnell, CTO of BIMobject AB.
